Services
Family Coaching
In-person (in your home or a neutral location) or online, I offer support and suggest options and solutions for areas of struggle in your family including behavior issues, family schedules and routines and sibling issues.
I am able to provide a trauma and/or attachment-informed perspective.
Homeschool Coaching
I offer coaching and support to home educators in the areas of curriculum selection and implementation, scheduling, goal setting and overcoming challenges.
Academic Screening
I offer screenings in math, reading, spelling, writing and handwriting. This information can be used to identify areas of struggle to focus on at home or to pursue additional testing.
Tutoring
I offer tutoring in-person or online in the areas of reading, writing and spelling through high school and through 8th grade in math. I use the S.P.I.R.E. remedial reading program. I can work with you and your child using their current math curriculum or provide remedial materials.
Executive Function Coaching
If your child or teen struggles with Executive Functions skills, I offer coaching to help identify and address needs through skill building and support. I am able to provide a trauma and/or attachment-informed perspective.
Autism Spectrum Disorder Assessment
The ADOS-2 is appropriate for children 18 months old through adults. The typical process is as follows:
- A 30 minute Zoom or phone call with the parent(s) if the person is a child or teen, or the adult if that is who is pursuing an assessment, to answer questions about the process and determine whether the ADOS-2 is appropriate.
- A written Parent Interview or Self-Assessment as well as other information-gathering tools as needed.
- The ADOS-2 takes about one hour, usually performed in the home.
- A results follow-up meeting within 2 weeks of the ADOS-2 appointment.
